Children in the Worship Service

We believe children can learn about God through worshipping alongside adults

  • Children can enjoy a wide variety of worship songs
  • Children’s stories are crafted just for kids to help them better understand a topic that will be discussed in the sermon
  • Children ages 3-Kindergarten can participate in Children’s Church where they engage in hands on Bible lessons during the sermon
  • Once a year children get to participate in Children’s Sunday where they get to be involved in the whole service
  • Special bulletins that relate to the themes for the service are available for children

Children Palm Sunday 2015

At Souderton Mennonite Church, we believe that children are an important part of the worshipping community. For this reason, we do our best to help children engage with what is happening during the Sunday morning worship service. In this photo, our children are enjoying their part in the Palm Sunday Worship Service.

The children listening to a story about David and Goliath, where they learned that nothing we can use to protect ourselves is as effective as God's presence with us.

Randy Floyd tells the story of David and Goliath as children learn about God's protection and what it means to trust God when everyone around you is terrified.
