MMNFF ~ Men's Monday Night Football Fellowship, September 13 - November 22, 7 p.m.
All men are invited to join us for fellowship, food & football on Mondays, September 13 - November 22 at 7 p.m. in the West Street Community Center. We will be discussing 10 Passions of a Man's Soulby Mark Elfstrand. After that we'll enjoy food and football.
Kick-off Tailgate Party ~ September 13, 6:30 p.m.
On Monday, September 13, join us at 6:30 p.m. in the West Street Community Center for the Kick-off Tailgate Party with Ted Brunner, Montgomery County Area Representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Yoga for Christian Women ~ begins Monday, September 13
All women - any age & fitness level - are invited to Yoga for Christian Women on Mondays, beginning September 13, from 7:10 to 8:20 in the Fellowship Hall. The cost is $10 per class and your first two visits are free. Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and beach towel. This is the third year for this class.

Learn the Art of Handbell Ringing ~ begins Monday, September 13
The Glory Ringers (grade 8 - adult) are in need of more ringers. Two people are also needed to play the "whoppers". Rehearsals will be on Mondays, beginning September 13, from 6 to 7 p.m. Contact Dottie Reed if you’re interested in leading in worship this way.

Fall Blood Drive ~ Wednesday, September 22
Please note the date has changed ~ Mark your calendar to participate in SMC's Fall Blood Drive on Wednesday, September 22. Information on how to sign up will be available soon. Did you know that every two seconds someone in America gets a blood transfusion? That translates into five million patients who need blood this year.

Raise your Voices with the Choir ~ Wednesdays, starting September 22, 7:30 p.m.
Choir rehearsals will be held on Wednesdays, starting September 22, at 7:30 in the choir room. New members are welcome to come try out your voices and give attention to your social needs in a musical sort of way!

Community Block Party ~ Sunday, October 3, 3 to 6 p.m.
Enjoy food, games & fun for all ages! The rain date is Sunday, October 10. Information on how you can volunteer will be available soon.

Fasting and Prayer on Mondays
Mondays are being set aside as a day of fasting and prayer at SMC as we "wait" on God. We ask you to join us in praying for God's direction and discernment for the future of the church and to let us know so that we can discern together what God is saying to the church. Email Fini Allegre, Prayer Team Coordinator, or fill out one of the green connect cards in the pews, with your name and note that you are joining the leadership in this time of prayer and fasting. The cards may be placed in the offering plate or in the prayer request box in the hallway. Also, if God has been speaking a word to you, feel free to note that in your communication.

Prayer Gathering
You are invited to a prayer gathering every Tuesday morning from 6 to 7 a.m. in the Prayer Room, downstairs near the Youth Center. The focus of the prayer time is partnering with God to transform our church and community.

Wednesday Prayer Gathering
The Prayer Team also invites you to join them for a Prayer Gathering each Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Prayer Room.

Monthly Women's Bible Study ~ Mondays, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
All women are invited to join a monthly Bible Study held on Mondays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Susan Freeman's home. We will meet for a time of sharing and prayer on June 14, July 12, August 9, and September 13. If you have any questions, please contact Deb Kratz.

God Quest
Everyone is invited to God Quest on Thursdays, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. God Quest is just what it says ~ questing after God through worship and prayer.
