Our Philosophy of Children`s Ministry

36 Then [Jesus] put a little child among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, 37 “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes not only me but also my Father who sent me.” Mark 9:36-37

Children play an important part in our faith family

  • All children have special gifts that bring about new life and energy to the church
  • We help children explore and display their God given gifts
  • Children are valued members in our community of faith
  • Children involvement during church services is strongly encouraged and desired

Parents are the most important spiritual influencers

  • We believe in the importance for parents to build faith at home
  • We walk alongside parents by encouraging them and giving them resources to help disciple their children

Children are able to know God and have a relationship with Him

  • We help children to learn more about God by engaging them in the worship service as much as possible
  • Children have many opportunities to learn about God through children’s stories, children’s church, Sunday School and Wednesday Night Clubs

We have a great God given responsibility to care for children

  • All our children’s ministry volunteers dearly love children and desire to teach them about God
  • All our volunteers have to go through an application process and complete the necessary clearances
