"Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." - Lamentations 3:21-23
At an early age I learned that I loved leading worship. I am an SMC life member and at age 15, I was invited by the Youth Pastor to play piano for our first "contemporary" worship songs integrated in the morning service. Since then, I have sang in choirs during High School, College and at SMC. When my husband Steve and I joined the Sr. High Youth Advisor team in 2006, I saw a need for guitar players to help the youth sing the contemporary songs that they connected with. I quickly taught myself to play and have been hooked on being a part of the SMC worship teams ever since!
This paring of giving leadership to worship and Sr. High Youth at SMC is a bit of a dream. I can now see that through my life experiences of the last few years, God has prepared me for "such a time as this". I am thrilled to give leadership to a great team of youth advisors and love spending time with our SMC youth and their friends.
When I am not at church ;), I enjoy playing and listening to music, watching sports and gardening. Steve and I have 3 children - Logan, Sean and Cora.
