Pride Of Erin

Pride of Erin School of Irish Dance is not only a competitive school but a performing school. Students are encouraged to expand their creativity and confidence in all classes, performances, and competitions. Their philosophy embodies teamwork, enthusiasm, and loyalty. It is our mission to teach technique, form, and history while promoting the enjoyment of cultural enrichment.

Celtic Caravan

All the musicians playing for you today as “Celtic Caravan” met over the years playing in Irish Traditional music sessions and bands across the Delaware Valley. Irish Trad sessions are places where people come together, usually in a pub, for great music and a good time – or as the Irish would say, “A bit of craic.” Unlike jam or jazz sessions, tunes played in Irish sessions are played mostly in unison and without improvisation. And as much as folk tunes can be static, Irish tunes are fixed so that the primary rule of a session is: if you don’t know the tune don’t play it!

Our group today is a fresh caravan of players here to bring you a whimsical bit of the “pure drop” or the very essence of Irish Traditional music and dance. John & Paul join us from a singing duo THE KING BROTHERS who have been part of the local music scene for over 40 years
