Youth Ministry

SMC has an incredible team of youth advisers and mentors who are working alongside parents to raise up a generation of young people who embrace their identity and calling as disciples of Jesus!

Our leaders have been striving to find creative ways to stay connected and engaged with the youth during this time of pandemic.

We encourage you to reach out to Jess Gillespie or Jess McQuade if you have any questions about upcoming events and ways your youth can be involved.

Youth Mentor Program

As each youth enters sixth grade, he/she is invited to choose an adult from the congregation to be a mentor for them throughout their junior and high school years. This adult builds a special connection to the youth, to encourage them spiritually and to walk beside them as a role model.  Contact Kristi Ruth for more information.

Weekly Worship Services

In-person Worship Service, 9:30am Sunday Mornings
Youth have opportunities to be involved in our services through reading scripture, special music,
being a part of the worship team, leading children's stories and drama.  We strongly believe that the youth are a vital part of our congregation. (Watch our Worship Gatherings HERE).
